Withdrawing from a subject (HE)

To withdraw from a subject prior to the census date: 

  1. Go to the Student Portal. 
  2. Go to the ‘My Study’ tile 
  3. Go to ‘Withdraw from a subject’. 
  4. Check the box next to the subject from which you wish to withdraw and click confirm. 
  5. Enter your reason from the drop down and click ‘OK. 

To withdraw from a subject post-census: 

  1. Log into your Student Portal. 
  2. Navigate to ‘Forms. 
  3. Complete ‘Withdraw from Subject (Post Census)’. TIP: use the search bar to quickly locate forms.

Note: Students who submit and are granted a withdrawal (at any level) by the College after the published census date for the subjects will incur both academic and financial penalties. The academic penalty will be a grade of WF (Withdrawal with Failure) which will be applied to the student’s certification documents. The subject fees and charges will still apply and remain the responsibility of the student
